Whaaattt??!! Rob and Kristin holding hands while walking? Oh yeah, you read it right. I got the shock myself too. Not that I don’t like them to be together, I wanted them to be together actually, they look really good together, but you know shock is the first reaction to anyone, anyone with feelings at least, hehe, but I’m okay now…and not that it mattered to me, no. Rob won’t even give a minute glance on what I’ve written here, so yeah, have fun with each other! We (I mean me and the ‘others’) are happy for you—in case you’re really together. It’s just like the chaos the pictures generated from Kings of Leon concert, haha.

Okay, so I’ve been keeping away from behind the scenes and all that videos of New Moon, after they (Summit) decided to give out a lot, and I mean a lot of trailers/spots…I am proud to say, I’ve been spoiler free for so long, even my NM calendar and Book Companion was safely tucked until now in my bookshelf, afraid that if I ogle on them I’d get pieces of the movie that I still don’t want to know–yeah, as if I still don’t know what’s going to happen. Anyway, this down here was my first ever bts look, yes, I dared. Well its fairly short and I’ve already seen this trailer over and over, so I guess it won’t hurt. So go ahead and have a look too, it’s Bella’s birthday party at the Cullen’s.

Hi there. Have not been updating for quite some time, and boy the news and photos were chest deep. Well I guess its really time for the cast of New Moon to get in the groove and flash those white teeth, after all the showing is almost just around the bend. November 21 for the lucky peeps of the US of A and some parts of the universe too, and here in Dubai its November 26. Phew! So let’s see what’s gunna happen on that day, I’ve got it all planned. 😀

In Canada he is shooting Eclipse, the third of Stephenie Meyer’s quartet of novels. The second, New Moon, is released this month in a publicity extravaganza that will involve shutting down New York’s Times Square. The last time the actor was there, the square was also closed to traffic, for an event only marginally more fascinating to the world: the election victory of Barack Obama. We talk on the phone. Even now, a year after Twilight’s release, Pattinson sounds utterly stunned by the hysteria swirling around him.
“It’s been a little frightening,” he laughs, a sort of embarrassed chuckle that punctuates his conversation, the sound of someone negotiating the best bit of luck they have ever had, not wanting to sound arrogantly blasé or overexcited. “In England no-one had heard of the series when I went for the audition, so it has been a total, utter surprise. The change to my everyday life is so extreme. Before this I was used to working 10 days a year. Originally, I did a three-picture deal, but I wasn’t even really thinking about that… I had no idea that I’d still be working on it now.”
Does the poor boy, who still calls London home, feel he has to hide? “I tend to stay in the hotel because it’s highly publicised where I’m staying all the time. There’s always a bunch of people outside. I can’t really be in LA now at all. It’s not that the fans are threatening, but the paparazzi follow me all night.” This hounding can evoke an absurd sympathy, considering the kid’s fortune and prospects. But then he brightens, telling me he was buying a guitar the other day and had to spell his name 12 times, and the guy still didn’t twig. “I loved that. It was my fault — I wasn’t speaking loud enough.”
When he read the first script, he had no idea how to play it. “I thought Bella, the heroine, would be a damsel in distress and I’d have to be the alpha-male hero type, so I thought I was never going to get it. But when they cast Kristen Stewart, she’s not really like that, so I realised there was a different way to play Edward, to show his vulnerability.” Could he get trapped, find it hard to move on to different sorts of roles?
“It worries me, because the whole Twilight thing keeps getting bigger and bigger, and now it’s so big that even my own ego can’t cope with it. A certain amount of success you can mentally deal with, but there’s a point where you think, ‘Jesus Christ, what is this? I’m not that great!’ I just wanted to make an American film, and I wanted it to be relatively good and to be good in it. I have never pushed to do anything… As soon as you start going to the gym every day and try to look like a movie star, you’re going down a worrisome track.” He laughs. “Being an English guy you get a lot more breaks. You’re allowed to look a little worse. It’s that thing about English teeth. Actually, Canadian teeth are pretty bad.”

UAE vampire fans are set to be among the first to get their teeth into New Moon, the much anticipated next instalment of the popular Twilight series.
In a special showing, New Moon will play the world’s largest outdoor movie screen at the SwissOpenAir Cinema on the opening night of its return to Dubai this month.
Starting with New Moon, SwissOpenAir Cinema will take place at the Media City Amphitheatre, and run every night from November 26 – 7 December, with doors opening at 7pm for dinner and drinks, and will run into the night with special entertainment and DJ.
Farzin Samadian, CEO of SwissOpenAir Concept says that New Moon is set to be one of the biggest movies of the year which is why it was so important to secure it for the open air cinema’s opening night.
“Everyone is very excited about this movie and we are really proud to be one of the first locations in the world to screen it. We would like to thank Gulf Film for providing us with this great screening opportunity” he said.
Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner reprise their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black. Academy Award-nominee Chris Weitz (The Golden Compass, About A Boy) is the director.
Also rejoining the movie are Ashley Greene as Alice, Peter Facinelli as Carlisle, Elizabeth Reaser as Esme, Kellan Lutz as Emmett, Nikki Reed as Rosalie, Jackson Rathbone as Jasper, Edi Gathegi as Laurent, Rachelle Lafevre as Victoria and Billy Burke as Charlie Swan.

Sam Samadian, Chairman of SwissOpenAir Concept says that for the last 21 years SwissOpenAir cinema has been developing its outdoor screen technology and surrounding sound systems.
“Our screen is a 70 Ton steel structure consisting of Hydraulic engines which erect the 4000 square foot screen from a horizontal position to its vertical showtime position. The whole operation of raising the screen consists of graphical and laser shows and a soundtrack, and takes about five minutes. The screen itself consists of several sensors for wind protection, light absorbing technique.”
The air conditioned projection room houses the latest projection technique for 35mm films, and the sound and surrounding system is tailor made design for each unique location.
